PATHMAKER Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: Camplify
Please visit the new page to apply.
Pathmakers is a group of middle-school aged students who meet one Saturday morning per month. Camp starts to build character, but Camplify strives to engage students all year long. Pathmaker volunteers are crucial to ensuring that these monthly programs run smoothly. We offer enriching opportunities (not just movies or bowling!) to enhance the lives of these students.

Mission Statement
Camplify believes that the camp experience provides unique opportunities for building character, leadership and resourcefulness in young people. We seek to enhance youth development by providing a progressive program of residential camp, mentoring and education experiences for children who would otherwise lack such opportunity.
Description
Camplify. The main focus is to develop future leaders. It's all done through a unique partnership with the camp community, the schools and the Henderson County Boys & Girls Club.
So, why camp? Residential camp and experiential learning help build confidence and character in young people and develop their leadership skills. It’s where they turn off the cell phones and the computers and have real face-to-face connections. They communicate and collaborate, practicing skills that will help them not only with personal relationships, but also as they mature and move into the workplace and corporate world.
Research has shown that even a brief exposure to camp can change a life. Since the program began in 1994 we've seen this happen in almost 3,000 little lives.
