Friends Learning in Pairs (FLIP), an inter-generational tutoring program of FiftyForward RSVP, needs volunteers, adults 55 plus, to tutor Kindergarten through fourth-grade students who are at least one grade level behind in their reading and comprehension skills. FLIP Math tutors are also needed.
FLIP volunteers support students through weekly, one-on-one tutoring sessions. Tutors are assigned the samee students for the entire school year, so you are able to follow the student's progress.
Flip provides training materials, on-site training, and ongoing support. A professional background is not required. Enthusiasm and interest is all you need!
