PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Make it financially possible for the Red Cross to deliver its lifesaving services. The Red Cross relies on volunteers and the generosity of the American public.
OPEN TIME DAYS
• Minimum 4 hours per month
REQUIRED TRAINING• Orientation to American Red Cross
• Recommended to take Disaster Services Overview class for understanding of mission and program services
• Enrollment in and completion of classes required to operate American Red Cross vehicles (not required but highly preferred)
• Hands-on training
• Enrollment and completion in Psychological First Aid training classes (not required but highly preferred)
