Application submission and approval are required before placement. Volunteers are needed at 20+ summer reading kick off programs throughout the City of Atlanta and Fulton County the week of June 1. Please include your phone number, so we can call you to further discuss this opportunity.
Volunteers will assist with set up, registration, activities and clean up for kick off or programs throughout the summer. Some activities are outside.

The mission of the Fulton County Library System is to serve as a cultural and intellectual center that enriches the community and empowers all residents with essential tools for lifelong learning.
Description
The Fulton County Library System is the largest library system in the state of Georgia. Volunteers serve at all 34 locations. The System provides a variety of literacy and community information services and programs for citizens in and around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. These services include, but are not limited to: providing audio, visual and print media for check-out by registered patrons; providing programming that reflects the diverse interests of area residents and visitors, and providing meeting areas for community discussion and interaction.
