Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving donations and recording them
  • Packing kits into boxes, and loading on pallets
  • Baling comforters
  • Preparing pallets for shipment
  • General maintenance of the building

Skills/ Knowledge/ Attitude Requirements:

  • Ability to organize essential
  • Good communication skills essential
  • Ability to lift 15-20 kg an asset
  • Class 5 drivers license an asset
  • Ability to climb ladders an asset
  • Forklift license is an asset
  • Computer literacy is an asset

Training and Development offered

  • Position specific orientation will be provided
  • Job shadowing and training meetings offered as available
  • Policy and procedure manual available at all times
