We have all experienced isolation at some point in our lives. Being the new kid in school or being home sick for more than just a few days. We know how sad and frustrating this can be. For hospice patients, isolation is the norm. Because of their failing health it is the everyday, all day situation. Hospice volunteers fight against this. Hospice volunteers are there to share a smile, listen to a story, watch a baseball game on TV or just sit quietly and hold someone’s hand. Join our team and help relieve the isolation for someone facing the end of life. Our patients reside all over Greater Philadelphia

Description
Heartland Hospice provides care to people who have a life-limiting illness of 6 months or less. Services include a team approach to care provided by Registered Nurses, Physicians, Chaplains, Social Workers, Certified Nursing Assistants, Volunteers and Bereavement Counselors. Services are provided in Skilled Nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and private residences in the greater Philadelphia area.
