Often times, family members and friends are not available to help the caregiver of a Hospice patient. Also, the caregiver feels like they will be putting a burden on family and friends so they do not ask for help when caring for their loved one on Hospice. So we see so many times, a caregiver taking care of their loved one all on their own, outside of what Hospice service provides. This is where the Volunteer Service plays such a significant role. Our volunteers offer such a piece of mind to our families by simply just being there. They don't have to ask because it is being offered to them. However, we need to expand our Volunteer Team and need you to sign up today!
Becoming a hospice volunteer is similar to helping a neighbor in need. There is no special qualifications required except that you be someone who wants to help others in need whether it be offering companionship to a patient, office help, or offer your specialities such as sewing or baking. All you have to do is apply and sign up for our training session. Sign up now to volunteer with our Victory Hospice!
