PEOPLE AGAINST VIOLENCE IS SEEKING CARING AND COMPASSIONATE VOLUNTEER CRISIS INTERVENTION COUNSELORS TO RESPOND TO VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE VIA LIVE CHAT AND PHONE, AND IN PERSON IF NEEDED. WE WILL CREATE A SHIFT THAT FITS INTO YOUR SCHEDULE AND YOU COULD WORK ON-CALL FROM THE PRIVACY OF YOUR HOME.
MUST HAVE A DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY OR SOCIOLOGY AND SOME EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATION IN CRISIS INTERVENTION. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE CERTIFICATION, WE COULD HELP YOU WITH THAT.
WE WILL HAVE PAID OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FUTURE FOR COUNSELORS INVOLVING PRIVATE SESSIONS WITH VICTIMS AND ARE ALSO OFFERING PUBLIC SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES.

Mission Statement
We are a non-profit organization with the goal to end violence of all kind. We seek to protect men, women, children and animals from harm. We supply free phone counselling to victims of violence and direct them to local shelters when necessary.
Description
Joining the "Protection Programme" is free and available to all. Our core services offered are free self-defence classes, counseling and seminars, emergency rescues, and overnight accomodations. In order to fully benefit from our programme, one must download the uAlert mobile app, a true emergency response system.
