Stepping Stone receives donated food from a variety of local organizations including Caribou, Panera,Lee Ann Chin, Pizza Ranch, and more!
We are looking for a volunteer(s) with reliable transportation to drive to our pick up locations for an on-call basis to fill in as needed. This >1 hour commitment may not seem like much, but it makes a huge impact for our homeless residents!
This is a flexible on call position making it a good fit for retired individuals and people with busy schedules. The shift would be approx 1 hour beginning at 1:15 or 1:30pm.
We are so lucky to have a strong community willing to work with us and we would love for you to join our team too!

Description
Stepping Stone Emergency Housing (SSEH) is the only homeless shelter for adults in Anoka County. SSEH is a 60 bed facility for both men and women over 18. In addition to housing, SSEH also offers educational programming and case management to help provide skills and services to guests as they strive to find permanent housing and become self-sufficent.
