Our Compassion Care Team is dedicated volunteers providing vigil support to patents with limited or no family support during the last hours of life. These hours are a spirit lifting experience.
Most Care team members read passages, sing, talk, or simply sit silently to help ease the last hours, and make sure that no one dies alone.
This position is as-needed. When someone is in the last several days of life, the coordinator would contact you and ask you if you have any availability to help. We realize that you have other things in your life, and it's always ok to say no.
There are opportunities throughout Manitowoc county. Requires the ability to work 2 to 4 hour shifts and to complete all the Compassus Hospice training guidelines. Make a difference! Training is provided at no charge.More opportunities with Compassus Hospice
