A volunteer ASL Interpreter is needed for upcoming events, especially the 9th Annual Frederick Community Health Fair. This volunteer opportunity has the potential to lead to employment as a paid interpreter through our Language Resources Department.

At the Asian American Center of Frederick we believe that anything is possible. For over 15 years we have worked hard to better the lives of immigrants living in and around Frederick County. We believe in grass-roots relationships and conducting outreach across inter-ethnic groups, erasing that invisible line of intolerance that separates us.
As our County becomes more diverse, the responsibility rests on us to first eliminate our own barriers. We offer a diverse range of services and events, including interpretation services, assistance in obtaining citizenship, language and culture education programs, health advocacy and outreach programs, and much more!
