ORGANIZATION: Roosevelt International Middle School

  • 85 people are interested

Volunteer days available include the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving

Folks who have court-ordered or other community service hours to complete, can earn a few by helping the Friends of Roosevelt Foundation with a school parking fundraiser. HOWEVER EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

Roosevelt Middle School is next to the Zoo and the Foundation parks overflow cars on the school campus on busy days and requests a donation with funds going to support student enrichment programs including clubs, teachers' classroom needs, field trips and more. No actual driving is required. If a student you may twrill/spin/flip signs to entice drivers into the lot.

Actual shifts will be four hours in length. Frequently we finish sooner but you will receive all four hours you have committed to. So send me an e-mail and I’ll direct you to the sign up page. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization and we can give you a letter certifying your volunteer hours as you "clock out".
