MEND’s Clothing Department is currently looking for a volunteer driver to help us pick up clothing donations at various donors' home and/or businesses in and around the San Fernando Valley. If you are available any day for 4 hours between Tuesday though Friday from the hours of 8 am to 4pm, we could really use your help.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Represent MEND at donor’s homes and businesses.
- Drop off and/or pick up donations.
- Drive in a safe manner.
SKILLS/RESOURCES NEEDED:
- Ability to lift 30 pounds or more.
- Ability to drive a box truck or a flat bed truck.
- Ability to read driving directions and maps
- A valid California Driver’s License
- A clean driving record.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (Preferred but not required.)
- Communication and writing skills. (Preferred but not required.)
