Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối is looking for a creative, talented volunteer to contribute your skills as a Program Director for our Fall annual fundraiser. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in organizing a fundraising event and supporting all elements from logistics to marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be available on-site day of event
• Identify and pursue potential spaces, websites or businesses to advertise for the event.
• Support marketing and communications materials for the event program booklets, table cards and more.
• Outreach to sponsors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large-scale event with a fundraising focus.
• Possess strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and lead a variety of volunteers.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and manage time wisely. Function as a cooperative member of a team.

We provide English language and computer education classes for adults and seniors, afterschool tutoring and summer classes for youth, job-site language training, information and referral services for our most vulnerable and cultural events for the community.
