Volunteering at the Palm Springs International Film Festival is fun whether you're helping out in the theatres (the heart of the festival) or behind the scenes in guest services, balloting, credentials, special events, or transportation. It's a great way to make new friends and give back to the community.
Shifts are generally 4 to 5 hours in length. For every shift worked, volunteers receive a voucher which can be exchanged for a movie showing during the Festival. We also have a thank you party for volunteers (that work 3 or more shifts) at the end of the Festival.
This Festival depends on our volunteers for our continued success. If you enjoy films and like working with people, we want to hear from you.

Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in the country, screening over 200 films from more than 60 countries each January, with a Film Awards centerpiece event that honors the most celebrated talents in classic and contemporary cinema. Designated by AMPAS, BAFTA, BIFA and Goya Awards as an award-qualifying festival, and accredited by the International Short Film Conference, the Palm Springs International ShortFest & Short Film Market is one of the most acclaimed short film showcases in the world.
