Volunteering at the Film Festival is fun whether you're helping out in the theatres (the heart of the festival) or behind the scenes with film makers and guests in guest services, balloting or transportation.

Shifts are generally 4 to 5 hours in length and for every shift you volunteer, you receive a 'voucher' redeemable to view a movie when you're not volunteering.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.

The Palm Springs Film Society has one priority which is to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved with our event- guests, sponsors, media, honorees, vendors and staff.

For the Film Festival, each person attending will be required to show their vaccination card and photo ID in person and sign a waiver. The person will then be issued a wristband, which will need to be worn for the duration of the festival visit. If the band is removed or lost, they will need to go through the process again. Specific details on the vaccination verification process will be provided as the festival draws closer.

Additionally the festival will be self-limiting theater capacities to no more than 75% and requiring masks for all.

Depending on the COVID-19 conditions at the time of the festival, additional testing may be required by the Riverside County health department and the state of California.

To sign up, go to www.psfilmfest.org and click on 'volunteer' and Register.
