This position requires mentors to take the lead in supporting a young adult through an ongoing one-on-one relationship. They will serve as a positive role model and friend. Mentors will build relationship by planning and participating in activities, striving for mutual respect and help set goals and work toward accomplishing them together. Also mentors will assist with building self-esteem and motivation within the young adult.
In addition, the mentor is responsible for communicating with supervisors and peers, along with providing information to all relevant parties by telephone, email, in written form, or in person. This position will establish and maintain relationships with young adults and families who receive services within the CC program.More opportunities with Pendleton Place

Since 1975, Pendleton Place has been a place of safety and comfort for children affected by abuse and neglet. Much more than a roof over their heads, Pendleton Place is an organization that provides children with structure, support, guidance and all necessities to begin the healing process.
Pendleton Place is committed to innovative approaches that will establish a community where children are safe, families are string and victims become whole again. We help children and families through a focus on residential care, supportive community services, safe family visitation and comprenhensive assesment for children and families in the foster care system.
