Do you want to help spread hope, strength, and joy to children and families in Los Angeles?
Help grant wishes to our children with life-threatening medical conditions in your community! We are currently looking for committed volunteers who can serve as Wish Granters in all areas of Los Angeles!
Volunteers will meet with wish children to find out what their special wish is. They will continue to be in touch with their assigned family for any updates. Once the wish is coordinated, volunteers will help surprise the child and reveal what their special wish will be. You will be trained on how to meet with families, interact with our wish children, and complete the necessary paperwork to proceed with the child's wish.
More than half of our wish families are Latino/Hispanic and most of them only speak Spanish. We are looking for more bilingual Spanish-speaking volunteers to help us meet with these families. Without enough bilingual volunteers, these Spanish-speaking wish kids tend to wait longer for their wishes to be granted.
