Ready, Set - KIRKLAND! BE part of this fabulous community tradition...now in our 18th year! We're getting prepared for the best event ever! Please help out - we cannot do it without you!
Event Schedule:
11:30 - Childrens Parade
Noon - Old Fashion Downtown Parade
5PM - Music in the Park
10:15PM - Fireworks

July 3 12pm - 2pm, 2pm - 4pm or 4pm - 6pm Volunteer to help decorate downtown Kirkland. We will be decorating the light poles and placing flags in strategic locations along the parade route.
July 4th - All day 7AM - 10PM Various shifts and opportunities including:
7AM - 9AM - Parade Staging
9AM - 10:30AM - Secure parade route
8AM -9:30AM - Decorating final touches
9:30AM - 12 Noon - Childrens Parade Help
10AM -12 Noon - Merchandise sales
10AM - 1PM - Parade route monitors
2PM - 5PM or 7PM - 10PM - Merchandise sales
All volunteers will receive a fashionable t-shirt, free snacks and our heartfelt gratitude (and a special volunteer only thank you event!)

Mission Statement
KDA was founded over 20-years ago, to help Kirkland businesses, especially small businesses, grow by bringing people into our downtown area. We host a variety of community events throughout the year that bring tourists and local residents into our picturesque downtown area to shop, enjoy our restaurants, cafes, galleries and the waterfront. Our programs and activities support the vibrancy, economic health, and inclusion that will keep Kirkland a growing, lively and wonderful place to live, work, play, and do business.

$$$$ - It costs nearly half a million dollars to put on all these events each year. We are able to do it because of the generosity of you (our community) and through sponsorships. We bring hundreds of thousands of people to Downtown Kirkland to have a great time. We are a 501(c)3 and your donations go a long way!
Volunteer! We need nearly 1000 volunteers to operate these events! Summerfest alone requires 500 volunteers! We rely on volunteerism to make all of this work! Is there an event that you are passionate about? Please come work with us!
