Come celebrate Asian cultures by volunteering with the Asian American Center of Frederick! The Asian Heritage Festival is a one day annual event that includes performances, food, games and other activities that allow our guests to experience a myriad of cultures that represent the Asian continent. This year we will host the event at the FSK Mall!
Naturally, we will need volunteers for set up and clean up. We also need volunteers who are happy represent the agency and build community relationships as an AACF Ambassador. There will also be games and craft activities that volunteers are needed to lead. Volunteers 13 years and up (youth under the age of 18 must have parent/ legal guardian permission.
Bilingal volunteers, cultrual performers, food/drink vendors, and arts and crafts vendors are encouraged to participate.
It's all about celebrating our differences together as a commuity and fostering acceptance through exploring Asian heritage. Please feel free to email me directly at volunteers@aacfmd.org with any questions or concerns.

At the Asian American Center of Frederick we believe that anything is possible. For over 15 years we have worked hard to better the lives of immigrants living in and around Frederick County. We believe in grass-roots relationships and conducting outreach across inter-ethnic groups, erasing that invisible line of intolerance that separates us.
As our County becomes more diverse, the responsibility rests on us to first eliminate our own barriers. We offer a diverse range of services and events, including interpretation services, assistance in obtaining citizenship, language and culture education programs, health advocacy and outreach programs, and much more!
