The good of our patients is our primary goal and every volunteer act contributes to this end. Opportunities include: transporting patients, assisting the nursing staff on some of the patient units, becoming a playroom assistant in the Children's Hospital,acting as a Patient Representative,helping friends and family as they await news of a loved one after surgery, assisting in the Gift Shop, doing various clerical tasks in some of our business offices. As part of our Health System, we include St. Vincent's Nursing Home which also uses volunteers to help with the elderly residents.

St. Joseph's HealthCare System consists of: The Regional Medical Center, a 792 bed tertiary care hospital caring for more than 350,000 inpatients and outpatients per year, The Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's is one of nine state designated children's hospitals in New Jersey, St. Vincent's Nursing Home in Cedar Grove, NJ and The St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Campus.
