One of KYRS’ biggest fundraisers is the silent auction at the anniversary party. This year’s party is November 17th, so mark your calendars. But you can help now! We are looking for a few volunteers to help out on the silent auction planning committee. The committee meets once per month, until we get closer to the date.

You can help create auction item bid sheets, make table-top displays for items, create bid sheets, solicit auction items, or other tasks.

And if you have an idea of something that would make a great silent auction item, please let us know. Email info@kyrs.org

KYRS Thin Air Community Radio fills needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and unserved or underserved groups. Thin Air Radio provides a forum for neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change. Thin Air's arts, cultural, and music programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental and reflects the diverse cultures Thin Air serves. Thin Air Radio strives for spontaneity and program excellence, both in content and technique.

Description

Thin Air Community Radio is run almost entirely by volunteers from the community, people like you who have a passion for independent music and ideas. All locally produced programs are hosted by volunteers.
