Do you have a passion for helping others? Are you looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives? If so, consider becoming a hospice volunteer.
Hospice gives patients who are facing a life-limiting illness the freedom to live ALL the days of their lives by offering comfort, dignity and quality of life.
Volunteers make supportive phone calls to families, visit with patients wherever they live - at home, or at an assisted living facility or nursing home - assist with activities at senior living centers, write encouraging notes for patients and their families, Perhaps the most helpful service volunteers can provide is something called volunteer respite visits. These visits allow time for the family member who is the caregiver to take care of his or her own medical appointments, complete family errands, or just have a few hours to rest - to have a much-needed "break".
We also have opportunities to assist in the office by making phone calls or light clerical duties. Everything helps!
Volunteers are needed for the following counties: Cobb, Cherokee, North Fulton, Pickens, Bartow, Floyd, Polk, Paulding and Habersham.

We take care of families in Cobb, Cherokee, Pickens, and part of Fulton counties. We would love to connect with potential team members who can volunteer their time to serve the hospice patients of Georgia. There are a plethora of opportunities to volunteer, but most importantly, it is an humble service you would be a part of providing. Our goal is to have volunteers ready to provide whatever needs the patients and families ask for so that they may be comforted and supported in every moment of their journey.
