Changed People Today, is a non-profit organization that uses proceeds from the sale of recycled aluminum cans to help raise funds for at-risk and low income youth in the community.

The main goals of our organization are to reduce the amount of solid waste that is not biodegradable that goes to our landfi...ll, to enlighten and educate the public on the long term benefits of recycling and to raise funds for youth groups and organization. The four main goals of the organization are:
* To reduce the amount of solid waste that ends up as landfill
* To reuse aluminum cans to reserve raw materials and energy
* To enlighten the public on the long-term benefits of recycling
* To raise funds for children's causes such as youth outreach, school supplies, hygeine kits, etc. At-Risk and Low Income Youth:
Gangs and the kids that gravitate towards them are often the product of a society that is not investing enough time and money into helping kids. If kids do not receive well balanced and loving beginnings to their lives it would be difficult for them to grow into caring adults. It is hard to expect people to love and care for their environment if they have not been shown love and compassion from their community. By contributing money to assist programs, associations and often ordinary schools that are trying to change the kids’ perception of their place in society, we can hopefully guide more and more kids back to a productive and caring place. As the programs grows we will be able to assist more and more kids. THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Seeking volunteers that have good customer service skills to contact business that perhaps have a break room area with vending machines that wouldn't mind donating aluminum cans to our non-profit once a week. Our organization will be up the used alumium can from their location. If interested in volunteering please be prepared to contact potential donors by phone, regardless if is a business or indivuidal.
