Classification of Volunteers:

All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Anyone under the age of 16 years, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering.

Volunteer Job Descriptions:

These are the most common volunteer jobs available at NOAH.

Cat or Dog Kennel Technicians work under the direction of NOAH. Care Coordinators and assist with animal feeding, cleaning of suites, colonies and kitty condos, sweeping & mopping, general maintenance, socializing, and various other cleaning duties.

Dog Walkers work under the direction of NOAH Care Coordinators. Dog walkers support the technicians with cleaning and other duties as assigned; socialize and exercise dogs throughout the N.O.A.H. property and trails. (Must be 18 years old.)

Receptionist/Greeters work under the direction of the Operations Director and assist with answering phones, greeting visitors and general miscellaneous duties. This position is available after after 3 months of continuous volunteerism.

Foster Parents work under the direction of the Foster Coordinator and provide specialized in-home care to orphaned kittens, puppies, or mother cats with babies. Foster families must be approved by our Foster Coordinator.
