The Webster Arboretum is seeking gardeners of all levels of interest and skill to join teams to help us maintain our many and varied gardens. We can match you to a garden with plants that interest you and to a garden that feels like the right size for your time commitment. We have specific needs for volunteers with experience working with roses, lilacs and azaleas but we also have a big need for people who are just interested in general gardening and weed maintenance.

About Webster Arboretum
Location:

Mission Statement
The Webster Arboretum is a planned community park.
The goal of this park is to bring together the unique talents of our community members to develop and maintain this special setting in which to explore and learn about nature.
Description
The Webster Arboretum is a place where people experience a unique garden of natural beauty. Visited by many, the park is multi-use to include leisure, educational and cultural activities in a natural setting. By design, it also enhances awareness of the value, beauty and need for protection of our botanical resources. The Webster Arboretum Association, Inc. was established as a 501c3 in 1994. During the past 20 years, the association's goal has been to create and maintain a park-like setting dedicated to quiet reflection and passive recreation through the beauty found within the sights, smells and sounds of nature. We aim at reflecting on the past, providing for the present and leaving a memorial and vision of the future. People of all ages will find something rewarding whether walking, playing, listening to nature or a band, studying and observing nature or resting. The association is made up of eleven board members who, with the assistance of the Town of Webster oversee the day-to-day functions of the arboretum including general maintenance, education and outreach programs, landscaping and park enhancement efforts.
