ORGANIZATION: Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis

Want to have a big impact on a small nonprofit? Want to accelerate research into Multiple Sclerosis?

Our nonprofit, Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis, is looking for assistance in researching a variety of topics on the Internet mostly related to how our small organziation can raise money. If you have great computer skills (Google, Excel) and attention to detail (critical for this volunteer job!), we'd love to speak with you. You will be making a real difference for our organization.

You won't have to ask anyone for money (we promise!) but you will need to look things up on the Internet and make phone calls to get additional details and then document things in both Excel and Word.

We'd be happy to have you work at our office in Waltham or virtually depending on your preference. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a few spare hours a week to make an impact.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to accelerate research for better treatments, faster diagnosis, and a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Description

Accelerated Cure Project’s (ACP) mission is to improve the health, healthcare, and quality-of-life for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) by connecting people with MS, care partners, clinicians and researchers, and to work together to accelerate innovation, research, and the application of new knowledge.

We fulfill our mission through the development and deployment of centralized resources that enable people-centered research in MS. Our resources include the ACP Repository; iConquerMS(tm) -- the only people-powered research network for multiple sclerosis; and, the MS Minority Research Engagement Partnership Network.
