Braille Institute is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to represent our organization in the community at health fairs and other community events. This opportunity is perfect for an outgoing, flexible person with experience (or wanting to gain experience) in Marketing or Public Speaking.

Health Fairs are on both weekdays and weekends, usually for a 3-4 hour period of time. You would typically be asked to volunteer for 1-2 events per month, depending on availability. Community Ambassadors work both alone and with other volunteers and staff members.

Training will be provided.

Braille Institute offers a variety of services to people who are blind and visually impaired, from mobility and technology training, to low vision rehabilitation and home visits, to arts and exercise classes, to a vast library of braille and audio titles for every age, and more. Each year, we help tens of thousands of people regain and maintain their independence. Thanks to generous donations, Braille Institute services are available free of charge.
