Are you a people person? Braille Institute is looking for personable volunteers to assist at our busy reception desk at our beautiful new Anaheim Center. Duties will include answering and forwarding incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting our blind and visually impaired students and various light clerical tasks.
2 to 3 hour volunteer time slots are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
No experience working with visually impaired people is necessary. Training will be provided.

Braille Institute offers a variety of services to people who are blind and visually impaired, from mobility and technology training, to low vision rehabilitation and home visits, to arts and exercise classes, to a vast library of braille and audio titles for every age, and more. Each year, we help tens of thousands of people regain and maintain their independence. Thanks to generous donations, Braille Institute services are available free of charge.
