Denver 4-H


Interns will work directly with CSU Denver Extension 4-H agents and staff to gain the skills, experience, and confidence they need to emerge as effective leaders in the professional world. Through hands-on projects, in a variety of interest areas, interns will accomplish self-determined goals and gain an understanding of what 4-H in Denver County has to offer. Opportuities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Faciliating youth programs
  • Developing curriculum in both STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and Healthy Cooking content areas
  • Marketing (social media, impact statements, brochures etc.)
  • Denver County Fair (help to plan and organize our pavillion, and the events within)
  • Help to develop, and/or coordiante, a volunteer management system
  • Create evaluation tools for future programs

We are seeking self-driven, responsible individuals interested in gaining professional development skills whilst having a passion for learning and engaging with youth, or adults in a professional setting. Internships are customizable, and aim to benefit not only our youth, but volunteer experiences as well.
