The new outreach program for Pie in the Sky, Farm to Family, a mobile farmers market, is on the cutting edge of a nationwide movement to get fresh, local, seasonal food on to the tables of folks who need it. There are literally millions of dollars in grant funding available for this innovative approach to hunger and we are desperately in need of an experienced grant writer who can help us access these funds so we can expand our program to reach as many people as possible.
It might be a volunteer position to begin with, but as we expand, it could be a paying job as well.

Description
Pie in the Sky is a grassroots organization in the rural farm town of Hastings, Florida. We are boots on the ground, in the trenches and address many issues, particularly those involving farmworkers and hunger in the food deserts.
