Join our team of Respite Support volunteers and stay with patients living at home while their caregiver goes to a doctor's appointment or is going to run an errand. Volunteers can talk to patients, listen to music, play games or simply keep them company if he or she is sleeping.
Visit frequencies are normally 2 or 3 times per month, for 1-3 hours. We work with your schedule and volunteer assignments will be made within your geographic area of preference.
Volunteers will receive a comprehensive volunteer orientation and specialized training to prepare you for your visits. Must be 18+ to provide Respite Support and pass a background check and TB screening.
