Volunteer your available time to help patients and families facing a terminal disease. Offer practical compassionate help . Volunteers help by assisting with different tasks, which include:
1. visiting with patients that have little or no family support
2. creating memorial legacy projects for patients
3. helping caregivers with light house work, such as organizing a closet, fixing a garage, etc
4. providing caregiver relief so caregivers can run errands
5. doing groceries for families
A helping hand makes a huge difference in hospice patients and families.
