We are looking for experienced storytellers and lovers of the arts to create blog posts (at least 300 words per post) for publication on LCFF's website. The posts will also be utilized in creating Facebook posts and Tweets. The posts will vary in subject nature, from performing research to interviewing, but will all share a common theme: telling LCFF's story in exciting and captivating ways. Content writers will usually have between one to two weeks to work on an individual blog post. Our writers are critical to helping us express the true voice and character of our festival. Please be prepared to submit at least two writing samples that showcase your experience with content writing and your ability to captivate an audience. Wordpress experience is required for this position, as is signing a non-disclosure agreement.

The Film Festival is an annual four day event that exhibits first-run feature films as well as student made shorts and documentaries in various venues around the City of Carlsbad.
