Care for Kids in Need at Saint Louis Crisis Nursery!
308 people are interested
Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides a safe haven for children 24/7. Volunteers are needed to provide loving care to children ages birth-12 years who live at the Crisis Nursery for a few days due to family crises such as homelessness and domestic violence. Volunteers engage children in fun playtime activities, serve them dinner, rock them to sleep, and help them feel safe and loved during their stay at the Crisis Nursery.
We’recurrently accepting new volunteers for weekdays between 2pm-8pm and weekends between 8am-8pm (any 2+ hours within those time frames). Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one 2-hour shift each week for one year, and shifts will be scheduled based on your availability as well as the needs of the Nursery. If you’re a student interested in completing required school service hours at the Nursery, your school must require a minimum of 40 hours of service per semester.
