About: TEALS trains and places a team of high tech professionals in a classroom with an existing high school teacher to help build a sustainable computer science program for that school. Teams of 3-4 volunteers are placed in a 1 st period classroom with an existing high school teacher and co-teach Intro Computer Science (based on UC Berkeley curriculum) or AP Computer Science A (based on University of Washington’s CS142 and 143 course). After a two year partnership - the high school teacher learns enough to teach the course on their own.
