Are you passionate about education?
Do you have 2 to 4 hours a week to help people in your community improve their literacy skills?
Support adults in achieving their learning goals by tutoring them through the tele-tutoring station at the San Carlos Library, while your learner stays physically at the East Palo Alto Library.
Tutoring adults gives them the opportunity to expand their horizons and achieve lifelong goals, such as:
Securing a better job
Reading to their children
Going to college
Passing the citizenship exam
And many more life-changing aspirations!
Next Tutor Training is Sunday, September 24th from 9:30-4:30pm in Half Moon Bay. Light Breakfast, Snacks, Drinks and Lunch will be provided.
