The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. Bilingual volunteers fluent in Spanish and English will play a major role at Stanford Health Library in the new Ravenswood Family Health Center. Responsibilities include helping patrons navigate through the clinic, working with patrons as they search for answers to health and medical questions, and creating individualized research packets for patrons who cannot come into the library. Training is led by a medical librarian. The library is open Monday-Friday, 9 to 5.
