Burn Survivors Throughout The World, Inc. (BSTTW) is a national and international 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.
BSTTW is looking for medical doctors, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, burn survivors, family members and others who are interested in joining BSTTW's support team. The volunteers can be in any state throughout the USA and in any country around the world.
We offer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support. We meet burn survivors and family members in person, by telephone, on the internet and have support groups.
BSTTW also offers free medical treatment to burn survivors who do not have the fiances and medical insurance to pay for the medical care needed to rebuild their lives after suffering a burn injury. With the help from doctors, nurses, hospitals and medical companies these individuals can receive the medical and rehabilation needed to rebuild their lives and reenter the community. The medical care may be in the USA and also outside the USA. So BSTTW accepts the volunteers to be from the following countries: Africa, Argentina, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Iraq, Israel, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, Tanzania, the UK, the United States and Viet Nam..
This is a time for all of us to do God's work and help people who suffer a burn injury and their family members get the support, education, friendship and advocacy needed to rebuild their lives.
