The Friends of "R" House is currently seeking a volunteer with a documentable background in publicity and social media management. We are looking to grow our association while continuing to develop our goals as we do so. We are a small membership-based historic house museum association that works in cooperation with the City of Mountain View for the benefit and continued interpretation of the oldest remaining home in Mountain View, CA. We are a group of preservation-minded individuals looking to promote local history through the medium of a house museum. If you are interested in any of the above, please contact us today.

Publicity Assistant - The Friends of "R" House is seeking someone with experience in marketing and advertising who is ideally able to become a publicity lead for a 1+ year term (but would be OK if at minimum they can work through May). Experience in social media, corporate branding, print and electronic advertising are required. We are seeking someone who has the ability to help grow the public face of the Friends of "R" House as well as promote our events and activities. The publicity assistant will need to attend quarterly meetings and be available for our events.

Work can be done remotely from your own computer and Board meetings can be attended via Zoom.

Please direct inquiries and submit a resume and cover letter to Yaritza Rodriguez info@friendsofrhouse.org
