Alacare is looking for volunteers who can assist with celebrating patient birthdays, anniversaries and holidays through out the month.
This allows you to visit a patient on their birthday or anniversary by delivering company supplied cupcakes, balloons and cards to their home.
Alacare is also looking for individuals to deliver thinking of you treat bags and cards each month.
Celebration volunteers are an important part of hospice. Often times our patients are celebrating their last birthday, last anniversary, or quite possibly last holiday. As a celebration volunteer Alacare asks that you commit to 1-3 days a month to deliver birthday goodies.
This is a great opportunity for a small group of friends to become hospice volunteers and celebrate the patients birthday in a very big way.

Enhabit - Home Health & Hospice seeks kind individuals to help ease burdens of families going through difficult times.
Enhabit is looking for patient facing volunteers to provide services to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
