Seeds 4 Success, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Annapolis whose mission involves guiding youth in public and subsidized housing so that they are able to become healthy, successful adults, is recruiting members for our Transportation Team, which helps us provide a crucial service to the kids and families we serve. http://s4sannapolis.org/

Too often, the families in Annapolis' public and subsidized housing communities lack access to consistent transportation. Seeds 4 Success offers a unique opportunity at no cost to our families, by providing them with transportation to important events and resources. Thanks to our transportation team, our families are able to access medical care, school and community resources, summer enrichment opportunities, and other programs they could not without consistent transportation. Some of the most revealing conversations with children happen on the car ride home, and our transporters enjoy the chance to get to know our S4S kids and families while providing them an incredible service.

Transporting is an easy way to give back to the community. Transporters volunteer as frequently or infrequently as they like, only signing up for slots when they are available. Opportunities primarily exist during weeknights and weekends.

Transporters are fully trained and supported by S4S staff, are subject to a driving background check, and are required to have up-to-date insurance and follow all traffic laws.
