Handy around the house? We are seeking volunteer handymen to make minor home repairs for aging seniors in the Kansas City area. As a volunteer, you provide basic home maintenance and household chores, so older adults don't have to climb ladders, haul boxes, or other potenitally dangerous activities. Common tasks include repairing locks and light fixtures, replacing toilet flappers, and fixing leaky faucets. No matter your experience, you have skills that can make a real difference in the life of an older adult - from repairing doorbells to hanging window shades, there is a place for handy volunteers at any skill level. Only volunteer when you have the time - evenings and weekends are fine!

Appointments take no more than two hours - most much less than that. Plus, you'll have a direct and powerful impact on the lives of older adults in our community.

Mileage reimbursement is provided. You skills can help keep older adults safe and comfortable in their homes - contact us today to get started!
