THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice is seeking a friendly and compassionate individual to volunteer for a few hours a week in our office on either Wednesdays or Thursdays. We have a need for this volunteer to make weekly friendly phone calls to some of our patients and/or their family member. This office volunteer can also help with other administrative tasks such as preparing mailings, copying and filing.
The Medical Team-Hospice provides training to volunteers, recognition and support. We do pay for and require a background check for our office volunteers.

Mission Statement
The Medical Team offers the strength and support of dedicated, training caregivers. Our mutidisciplinary team of hospice specialist includes a Medical Director, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, CNA's, pharmacists, social worker, chaplain, bereavement and volunteer coordinator.
Description
The Medical Team is also able to offer the care of trained Volunteers----people who understand the emotional and logistical burdens of this trying time, and are committed to providing companionship and interaction.
