No experience necessary! Volunteers and/or coaches are key figures in an athlete’s life, providing the paperwork processing, sports skills, and spirit that define a true athlete. Volunteers or coaches serve as role models and character builders, giving PV Schools' Special Olympics athletes awareness of their worth, ability, courage and capacity to grow and improve. PV Schools' Special Olympics volunteers or coaches also have a direct impact on athletes’ lives by helping them acquire skills that can influence their abilities to obtain employment, succeed in school, and achieve personal goals.
PV Schools' Special Olympics needs your energy and time to help bring out the best in someone else. Our athletes have unlimited enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a great amount of joy to share. Volunteering or oaching for PV Schools' Special Olympics will renew your love of playing - and competing - just for the fun of it.

Mission Statement
Paradise Valley Schools-Special Olympics offers school-based, after school, Olympic-type individual and team sports which provide meaningful training and competition opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities, including age-appropriate activities and activities for lower ability athletes.
