Volunteer drivers are men and women willing to share their time and vehicle to help meet the transportation needs of seniors. Transport a senior living in the Plainview-Old Bethpage area to local medical appointments, food shopping or local errands. Qualifications include: a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, a good driving record, and must be age 21 or over. All trips are within the local community. Interview, training, references and background check are required.
