We had such great response to our Sowing the Seed in years past, we have raised our goals and are hosting another one.
For the past 8 years the Crossroads Presbyterian Church plants a garden and donates the produce to a local food bank. We have given over 16 tons of food. Each year we host a Sowing the Seed event in which we plant most of the garden. We need volunteers to help sow beans, squash, and plant peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes. This is a great event for community service projects for the schools. No previous gardening experience is necessary.
Young children welcomed.
Please bring work gloves if possible.

We have a 150x150 community garden in which we grow vegtables for Hospitality House (a local food bank). We also have plots available for people to grow their own vegtables.
