We are always in need of fosters for our dogs and puppies. The more fosters was have, the more dogs we can save from the high-kill shelters! When a dog is not adopted over the weekend, we rely on fosters to take the dogs into their home for the week. This is a crucial part of the rescue process, since fosters provide the bios and pictures everyone sees online. Fosters also help the dogs integrate into a home life, and learn basic commands, so they will be more prepared to fit in with their forever family!
Fosters pick up their dog from the Adoption Center on Sunday afternoons between 3-3:30 pm. We will loan you a crate if you need one (to be brought back each weekend!). Your foster dog then needs to be returned to the adoption center between 9-9:30 am on Saturday mornings, in time for adoptions which start at 10 am.
Puppies who are too young to attend events at the Adoption Center will need a committed, stay-at-home foster for about 3 weeks until they are old enough to get their second puppy shot.
