It is the MISSION of the Mountain Valley Hospice ReSale Shoppe to support MVH&PC’s community and specialty programs and to provide funds for indigent hospice patient care. Our VISION is to partner with our community through collaboration with other relief agencies while offering a unique site to purchase items of exceptional quality at a reduced price.
Please check us out on Facebook (Mountain Valley Hospice Resale Shoppe Mt. Airy NC and Mountain Valley Hospice Resale Shoppe Sparta, NC. We need volunteers to assist with staging merchandise, accepting and sorting donations, tagging clothing and household items, and light cleaning .Proceeds from this shoppe will go towards our community programs such as We Honor Veterans, Kid's Path Pediatric Palliative Care, Transitions, Adult Palliative Care, uninsured patients, community outreach and education and many other programs.

Description
Since 1983, we have been providing the highest level of compassionate, quality hospice and palliative care for those who are facing a serious illness. We allow you to spend more quality time with those you love and do the things that are most important to you.
We began as Hospice of Surry County, Inc, and then merged with Northern Hospice of Surry County in 2005 to form Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. We serve patients and families facing serious illnesses in 18 counties throughout North Carolina and Virginia. Through our scope of services, we care for the entire family, not just a set of symptoms. We provide care for patients wherever they call home.
Our health care team consists of Physicians, Nurses, Nursing assistants, Chaplains, Counselors, and Volunteers. We invite you to learn more about us and our scope of services that include: Support groups, Kids’ Path services for children, Special programs for Veterans, Alzheimer’s support, and Grief Support.
