The Greater Waterbury YMCA needs a little help in getting our camp in Southbury up and running for the summer. It has been a long winter this year! Projects will include cleaning, painting, organizing supplies, setting up camp areas, yard maintenance and planting flowers. This camp serves over 100 children per week, providing ample opportunities for learning, friendships, and belonging. Scholarships are available to all of those in need. Please help prepare camp for a great summer!

Description
The Greater Waterbury YMCA is proud to offer two day camps, YMCA Camp Mataucha, and YMCA Camp Oakasha, that are unmatched in customer service, the quality of programs, and most importantly caring and professional staff. Our staff inspire campers to learn and demonstrate positive values such as caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility through positive role modeling and recognizing important "teachable moments". Serving children ages 5 to 15 years of age, everyday is a safe new adventure specifically tailored towards the age of your camper. With activities such as archery, swimming, arts & crafts, boating, field games, nature, hiking, family nights, overnights and more, camp is sure to be a fun memorable experience.
