Quality Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to donate their time to help patients with a life limiting illness.
Our volunteers visit patients in private homes and residential care facilities and provide companionship and friendship to patients through a variety of activities and respite to caregivers. Activities with patients may include helping with life reviews, memoirs, reading or listening to music together, preparing light meals, writing letters or making phone calls. We also have a special need for volunteers certified in massage or pet therapy.
Quality Hospice provides free training, flexibility, ongoing support and education to ensure all volunteers are comfortable working directly with patients and their loved ones. As a volunteer you will be able to leave lasting impressions on hospice patients, their family and caregivers.

Description
Hospice provides care to people in the last weeks to months of life. We utilize a team approach to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients and caregivers. Care is provided where ever the patient resides, which may be a house, assisted living facility, or nursing facility.
